This is Marc Miller’s site, the definitive source for almost all Traveller material. Digital and physical products are available, but you must accept delivery – no downloads. It is an old-school style site that uses PayPal for transactions. Be mindful of the way the site opens up new tabs or PDFs – read the new tabs for information but you’ll need to go back and hit the “Add to Cart” button to select something to buy. The interface can be a little wonky, as can the handoff to PayPal. I’ve ordered from here several times and always had prompt service and quick replies to my inquiries.
The first place many people stop for digital RPG content and there’s plenty of Traveller material from various editions to be had here. You can also order physical copies of some material, and the site offers a wealth of products related to traveller – generic scifi gaming material such as deckplans or world generation supplements, as well as compatible material put out for the Cepheus Engine.
These people publish the other current living version of Traveller, now in it’s second edition. There are physical and digital materials available for the current ( 2nd ) version of their game, and also some amount of the 1st edition material and broader source material under the “Third Imperium” heading.
Steve Jackson Games – GURPS Traveller
Ahhhh GURPS.There is a page for GURPS Traveller material, but it leads nowhere. No supplements, no JTAS, no Traveller News Service. You can grab all the GURPS Traveller material over at Far Future.
This is my first stop when I can’t find that one particular physical copy of something. Inventory shifts and is a little spotty but I like the idea of supporting an independent used game store. They’ll also buy what you have to sell.
“There’s always Amazon,” right? I’d make this your final fallback, as buying from here you’re mostly benefiting an enormous retail empire, instead of some digital equivalent of your Friendly Local Gaming Store. But sometimes that thing you want can be found nowhere else. Or you’re looking for some solid delivery guarantees. There’s also no shortage of used Traveller material, but you have to play with the search and dig into the categories if you want to find that elusive item. A better strategy might be to head to Google and in search box type the name of the supplement you’re looking for, then after that type “site:amazon.com” – this will probably give you better results than using Amazon’s internal search engine.
Ahhh eBay. When you have no other recourse lol Always an option whether you’re looking for the obscure piece for your physical collection.
